Leadership Consultant | Experiential Facilitator | Cultural Strategist | Founder of Return to Reverence LLC

Gurnam Atwal is a multidisciplinary leadership consultant, experiential facilitator, and cultural strategist specializing in somatic intelligence, emotional wellness, and values-driven organizational culture. With over 15 years of experience across wellness, performance, corporate aviation, hospitality, and cross-cultural communication, she helps visionary companies cultivate more harmonious, human-centered, and emotionally intelligent work environments.

Raised in a yogic, Ayurvedic, and Sikh devotional household, Gurnam has been singing kirtan since the age of 8 and studying ancient sound and movement lineages throughout her life. She is a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor (since 2008), Level 3 Reiki Master, certified Ayurvedic Coach, and Experience Designer through The Belong Institute. She has also studied Dhrupad Raag and performed in multiple devotional music ensembles. Her work fuses ancient mind-body practices with modern leadership development—helping clients regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with purpose, and lead with clarity, creativity, and integrity.

Her career spans international development, legal operations, executive wellness, and interfaith leadership. Gurnam has worked as a corporate flight attendant, supported legal and HR teams, facilitated yoga and somatic workshops across the U.S. and South America, and served as Secretary of the nonprofit Interfaith Prayer Service International. She holds a B.A. in International Studies with a focus on Peace & Conflict Resolution and has conducted field research on regenerative community models.

Through her platform Return to Reverence, Gurnam offers executive coaching, leadership intensives, team attunement workshops, and immersive retreats—supporting founders, creatives, and conscious organizations in bringing more emotional intelligence, cultural depth, and holistic wellbeing into their operations. Her work is especially impactful for teams navigating transition, tension, or burnout, offering practices that promote cohesion, creativity, and joy from the inside out.

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll find her DJing, dancing, hiking through the Alaskan wilderness, or preparing Ayurvedic meals to share with friends. She is devoted to creating spaces—both in business and in life—where presence, purpose, and human connection can thrive.
